I bought this book from Amazon.
It has lots of visuals, which I love.
Mainly bought it for my kids, who are half Hmong and Cambodian. They are always curious about their culture history.

Hey FFD - thanks for visiting the blog. I couldn't comment on your blog. But I think you're really pretty and don't look Hmong. I will try my best to post more thoughts about Hmong people on the blog since I wasn't able to find any more news recently.

I think it's great your kids want to learn about our heritage. I see your passionate about it also. My dad and I watch documentaries together a lot and he shares books with me also so I share the closeness with your ties to your kids ;) This is the only way for me to preserve my culture as well by reading and watching historical documentories of "us". Like you, the older I've gotten (not a real word, lol) I've been more demoralized then ever and regret not appreicating it sooner. However, It's never too late :) Thanks for your blogs. I'll learn a lot and read a lot of them.

I've become more passionate about spreading the Hmong word in the past few years.
I still find it upsetting that many people don't know who Hmong people are. It also angers me that many people think just because my hubby isn't Hmong, that I wouldn't care about my Hmong heritage.
